Playoff Draft is the closest thing to a normal fantasy league: a snake draft, live or slow, from every hitter and pitcher on the playoff rosters, ranked by the FanRanked season board. October Box Pool is the format for a crowd. Before the Wild Card round, everyone picks one player from each box of similar players (aces, closers, sluggers), with at most three players from any one MLB team. One and Done is the daily game. Every game day you pick one hitter and one pitcher who play that day; once a pick locks at first pitch, that player is used up for the rest of October. Long Ball is the spring format: draft hitters and score one point per foot of Statcast home run distance all season. It also runs as a postseason league for groups that want a bomb-only October. Long Ball rules.
Points formats score every box-score event. The default formula gives hitters 1 for a single, 2 for a double, 3 for a triple, 4 for a home run, 1 for a run, 1 for an RBI, 1 for a walk or hit by pitch, 2 for a stolen base and minus 0.5 for a strikeout. Pitchers get 1 per inning, 1 per strikeout, 4 for a win, 3 for a quality start, 5 for a save, 3 for a hold, minus 2 for an earned run or a loss, and minus 0.5 for each walk or hit allowed. Relievers score, so closers on deep teams are real assets.
Every point is then multiplied by the round: Wild Card 1x, Division Series 1x, League Championship Series 1.5x, World Series 2x. A home run in the World Series is worth twice a home run in the Wild Card round. Playoff Draft leagues can run rotisserie categories instead (runs, home runs, RBI, stolen bases, average, wins, saves, strikeouts, ERA, WHIP), with no multipliers. Commissioners can change every weight and multiplier before the league opens, and the Rules tab inside the league always shows the numbers in force.
Only postseason games count. Regular-season stats never score, even from the final weekend. When a team is eliminated its players keep the points they banked and score nothing more, and the standings update as soon as the box scores are final, usually within an hour of the last out.

In the October Box Pool you may swap up to two eliminated players after the Division Series for unused players from the same box on surviving teams.
