JD, : Bryan Woo is somewhat of an enigma for me, as he has elite Stuff+ and Location+ metrics, and elite fastball without elite underlying metrics (I would call them above average) but nothing else that really separates him with his repertoire. The only pitches that have been elite for him in his career before 2026 have been his fastball and sinker and even his sinker took a step back this year, being only +2 runs of value for 2026. Maybe the changeup that he found this year will become his #2 pitch and continue to outperform the rest of his arsenal, but I think its effectiveness comes from the infrequency and not necessarily because it is an outlier in stuff. His strong command will keep him in the "very good" tier, I don't really think there's much more upside from where he is now. He effectively shares a ranking with Eury Perez, and the two could not be more different in terms of their dispersion of outcomes over the next couple of years. Woo is probably the ultimate safe #2, so if that fits well in your team he is a great target. If you are looking for someone with more upside but are willing to risk the downside, you should be looking at someone like Eury.
