JD on Payton Tolle (Jun 3, 2026): Here is a great article on Tolle and how he has dominated so far. Does anyone else feel like he snuck up on us last year? He was not on my radar at all and all of a sudden he is up and dominating in the big leagues with unreal stuff. with a FB that averages 96 and plays up due to his extension, he doesn't need much else to dominate hitters. Kind of reminds me of Schlitter from the left side with his arsenal.
JD on Yoshinobu Yamamoto (May 27, 2026): I surprised myself here by ranking Yoshi SP4 as I've always been a bit skeptical of him and how he would hold up. In reality there's nothing in his profile that scares me off from putting all of my chips into him and building a staff around him in a dynasty league. He backs up his pretty great stuff with incredible command and I think he has a profile that is going to age very well in the scenario where his stuff takes a step back, I don't think he will be affected too much. Honestly as I'm thinking about it, he's more like a right-handed Cris Sanchez and it's about the highest praise I can levy on a pitcher right now.
