- Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account.
- Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with our Service, including votes, rankings, and player comparisons you submit.
- League Data: If you connect a fantasy baseball league (Yahoo, ESPN, Fantrax, or CBS), we access your league information, rosters, standings, and transaction history to provide league analysis features. The access credentials you authorize (such as OAuth tokens) are stored encrypted, and you can disconnect a league at any time.
- Payment Information: FanRanked Pro payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and never touches our servers; we store only your subscription status and billing period.
- Analytics: We use Google Analytics to collect usage statistics such as pages visited, time spent, and browser type, including subscription conversion events.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Service
- To generate crowdsourced fantasy baseball rankings from user votes
- To display your personal rankings and league analysis

4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your votes and rankings contribute to aggregate crowdsourced rankings that are publicly visible, but your individual identity is not tied to specific votes publicly. We may share anonymous, aggregated data for analytical purposes.
5. Third-Party Services
Our Service integrates with the following third-party services:
- Google (Authentication): We use Google OAuth for sign-in. Google's privacy policy applies to the data they collect.
- League platforms (Yahoo, ESPN, Fantrax, CBS): If you connect a league, we access your league data through that platform's API or with the credentials you provide. You can disconnect at any time.
- Stripe: Payment processing for FanRanked Pro. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the payment data they collect.
- Advertising: We show ads to free users. Our advertising partners and their vendors use cookies to serve and personalize ads; see the Advertising section below for details. Pro members do not see ads.
- Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with the Service, including pages visited, time spent, and browser type. You can read Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
- Supabase: Our authentication and database infrastructure is hosted on Supabase.
- Railway: Our application servers are hosted on Railway.
- Resend: Delivers our transactional and (opt-in) newsletter email. You can unsubscribe from non-essential email at any time.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in secure, encrypted databases. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account information and associated data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, please contact us at the email below.

12. ChatGPT and Claude App
FanRanked Fantasy is an app you can use inside ChatGPT and Claude. When you ask it a question, the assistant calls our server with the details needed to answer it, such as a player's name, a list of players and picks in a trade, a ranking list, a position, a date, a league size or a scoring format.
- What we receive: only those tool arguments. The app does not require a FanRanked account, and we do not receive your name, email address, ChatGPT or Claude account details, or your conversation.
- What we log: for each request we record which tool was used, how long it took, and whether it succeeded. We do not log the arguments or any personal data.
- Tracking: the app sets no cookies and runs no analytics, and its cards load nothing from third parties: their fonts, styles and scripts are all served by FanRanked. Links back to fanranked.com carry tags (utm_source=chatgpt, utm_medium=app and the tool name) so we can see that a visit came from the app. Once you open fanranked.com, the rest of this policy applies.
- Retention: the app's tool-call log entries, and our hosting provider's standard request logs (which may include IP addresses), are kept only in the hosting provider's logs and are deleted on that provider's schedule. We do not copy them into our database.
