JD, : Is Senga going to find new life in the bullpen? Baseball Savant released an interesting article on this and they make a good point, a triple-digit fastball and his forkball are all he needs to succeed out of the bullpen and he can be incredibly dominant. All of this other pitches this year were getting crushed, this is directly from the article: "In at-bats ending against Senga's sweeper, slider, sinker and cutter, the opposition is hitting .364 with a .742 slugging percentage. For comparison, Barry Bonds slugged .749 while clobbering 45 home runs in his age-38 season in 2003." So maybe this move is the best for his career. Does it give him a ton of dynasty value? No, not really, because he is still 33 years old and you can't put a ton of faith in closers in general, let alone ones new to the bullpen with a spotty track record and injury history. But I could see Senga being a pretty dominant reliever over the next couple of years and he could probably be picked up effectively for free in the offseason. If you are in a deep enough league, he is a sneaky good add for 2027.
