JD, : A 25/25 dynasty ceiling at shortstop is rare, and Jacob Lombard pairs plus-plus speed with real over-the-fence power to get there. The swing-and-miss rate from his showcase summers is the swing skill on the profile, though, and it's steep enough that his hit tool needs real refinement before that ceiling shows up in games. Miami got a top-five talent at pick 14, which only sweetens an already high-variance dynasty stash. However I need to emphasize the high variance that Lombard represents and there's a great chance you're left with nothing. Proceed accordingly.
