JD, : I was really bullish on Keaschall heading into the year, but I feel like I have to call a spade a spade here. He has just not been very good. It's not that he's a bad player, and he's got some very interesting pitch selection Statcast data, but when he does decide to swing at the ball, he is not doing enough damage to really make it worth anyone's while. His exit velo is only in the 2nd percentile (84.6 MPH) and I don't care how good of plate discipline you have, pitchers will eventually figure out that won't be punished for throwing pitches in the zone to you and the plate discipline won't be the strength it once was. If you were in a deep league, I could see buying low on him and waiting for him to turn it around (he is only 23 years old). However I think he is more of a long-term project and not someone you should be looking to go out and acquire right now if you are in a window of contention this year or next year.
