JD on Ace Reese (Aug 25, 2026): Ace Reese has had probably the most impressive debut from anyone in this class with a .439/.519/.683 slash line across 54 plate appearances in A ball for the Mariners with more walks than strikeouts. At 6'4", 220, his left-handed bat looks like a middle-of-the-order presence for many years to come for the Mariners. I can see him being one of the faster movers from his class in the minors and locking down first base for the Mariners in 2028. They're currently giving him some run at 3B but I'm not sure if he actually sticks there long term. One of my biggest buys in the FYPD.
