FanRanked Fantasy for ChatGPT and Claude

Ask about fantasy baseball and football players in ChatGPT or Claude and get FanRanked's rankings, trade checks, projections and waiver picks back as cards in the chat.

What It Does

FanRanked Fantasy is a set of 10 read-only tools that look up FanRanked data for MLB and NFL players. Every answer keeps two views apart:

  • FanRanked Staff: the FanRanked editors' own dynasty board and written takes. In football, and for baseball projections, this is FRANK, FanRanked's own projection model.
  • Public Consensus: one blended rank built from the public rankings FanRanked tracks, shown with the number of sources behind it. The app never lists the individual sources.

When the two disagree, the answer says where and by how much. Each card links to the full page on fanranked.com.

How to Connect

Claude

  1. Open Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector and enter https://www.fanranked.com/mcp.
  3. Leave the authentication settings empty. No sign-in or FanRanked account is needed.
  4. Start a chat and ask about a player.

Once FanRanked Fantasy is listed in Claude's connector directory, you can add it from there instead.

ChatGPT

FanRanked Fantasy is in review for the ChatGPT app directory. Once it is approved, you will be able to find it by name in ChatGPT's apps and connect it with no sign-in.

The Tools

You don't call the tools by name. Ask a question and ChatGPT or Claude picks the right one. Each entry shows a prompt that uses it.

Get Baseball Player get_player

One MLB player: the FanRanked Staff dynasty rank and take, the public consensus dynasty and season ranks, rank history, the latest season's stats and Statcast percentiles.

Try: "Is Junior Caminero a top-5 dynasty asset?"

Search Baseball Players search_players

Finds MLB players by name and returns up to 8 matches with their staff and consensus ranks.

Try: "Find players named Witt."

Get Baseball Rankings get_rankings

The FanRanked Staff dynasty board with a consensus column and the biggest staff and consensus disagreements, or the public dynasty, season or prospect consensus. Filter by position; up to 25 rows.

Try: "Who are the best dynasty baseball players right now?"

Check a Dynasty Trade check_trade

Prices a dynasty baseball trade, players and rookie picks, with the same engine as fanranked.com/trade. Says who wins and by how much, on the staff board and on the consensus, and what would even it up.

Try: "Should I trade Roman Anthony and a 2027 mid 1st for Junior Caminero?"

Compare Baseball Players compare_players

Two or three MLB players side by side: staff ranks and takes, consensus ranks and the latest season's line, and who each side prefers.

Try: "Compare Bobby Witt Jr., Pete Crow-Armstrong and Shohei Ohtani."

Get MLB Streamers get_streamers

StreamMachine's streaming pitcher and hitter picks for a day, with the Stream of the Day track record. In the off-season it says so and shows the record.

Try: "Who's a good streaming pitcher tomorrow?"

Get MLB Projection get_projection

FRANK, FanRanked's own projection model, for one MLB player's coming season.

Try: "What does FanRanked project for Paul Skenes next year?"

Get NFL Player football_player

One NFL player: FRANK points per game and position rank for the season, recent weekly scores, and the public redraft and dynasty consensus. Half PPR by default; PPR and standard on request.

Try: "How good is Ja'Marr Chase this season?"

Get NFL Waiver Adds football_waivers

The most-added NFL players this week, each with FRANK's projection and the redraft consensus. Filter by position.

Try: "Any RB waiver adds?"

Compare NFL Players football_compare

Two NFL players side by side on FRANK and the redraft or dynasty consensus, and who each side prefers.

Try: "Kenyon Sadiq or Brock Bowers?"

Limits

  • Read-only. The app can't see your leagues, make roster moves, place trades or change anything on FanRanked or any other site.
  • MLB and NFL only. Other sports return no match.
  • FanRanked Pro features, such as weekly football projections and start/sit picks, are not part of the app.
  • Lists return at most 25 rows. Ranks and projections change, so check the date on each card.

Privacy
