I thought I did a good job of tempering my expectations while he was injured but now that I saw the screenshot of him with his additional 15 lbs. of muscle, I'm fully back on the Walcott train. He is off to a hot start with a 140 wRC+ in AA, and if you held onto him I think you are about to be handsomely rewarded. JD on Walker Jenkins (Sep 11, 2026): Not a great start from Jenkins in his big league debut, but I'm giving him a lot of grace. Why are the Twins hitting him 9th? You don't take a Ferrari out of the garage to drive it 25 mph on surface streets. You push it to see what you can get out of it. I would like to see the Twins put Jenkins in the two spot and see if he can get comfortable at the big league level, but for the time being I guess every day at-bats out of the nine hole is not the worst-case scenario for a September callup.
