JD on Kyle Stowers (Aug 3, 2026): Stowers has taken a step back from his white hot 2025 season that got cut short in August, but the flashes are still there that makes me confident that he is still very valuable in dynasty leagues. He has premium exit velocity (92.1 Avg EV), elite barrel and hard hit rates (86th and 97th) but too much swing and miss in his game to really contribute in the batting average department (31.6% K-rate). If you are in an OBP league then he is a touch more valuable that a standard 5x5, but I wouldn't be surprised if he finds a way to hit at a .260 clip for the rest of the year.
JD on Vinnie Pasquantino (Jun 3, 2026): I originally had Vinny a lot higher but I kept digging in and realized he just hasn't turned out to be the player that I thought he was going to be. With an avg hovering around .200 without exceptional power, his time has run out for me. If you're a buyer here he pays off by finally making it all click then more power to you, but I am out for now.
