JD on Gunnar Henderson (Jun 2, 2026): What is so attractive about Gunnar Henderson at this point where he still demands a top 20 overall dynasty value? His Statcast metrics are meh at best and he hasn't really shown any traction since 2024. He is definitely a solid contributor across the board but if someone still thinks he's getting back to his top five peak that we saw two years ago, I would move on him in a heartbeat.
JD on Leodalis De Vries (Sep 11, 2026): Really brutal news for Leo that he will be out for 8 months with shoulder surgery. Luckily it's during the offseason and he's so young and it's not crucial that he gets a ton of reps right now. It would be nice to see him knocking on the door of the big leagues next year with a really strong spring and start to the 2027 season. I imagine this takes any hope of a 2027 debut as a 20-year-old out of the picture but still leaves the chance that he makes his 2028 debut as a 21 year old in play. I like what Sebastian Walcott has been able to do coming back from injury so I'm hopeful that Leo will take the time to develop, get stronger, and come out of this better off in the long run. Not selling if I own him here.
