JD on Franklin Arias (Jul 3, 2026): Arias may need to be re-evaluated as he is killing it at AA right now. I just don’t love that he is undersized and worried he will have more of a contact focused approach at the big league level. Realistically he should probably be climbing closer to the top 20. I'll probably be re-evaluating over the next couple of weeks.
JD on Rainiel Rodriguez (Sep 17, 2026): Rainiel may have put up one of the best full season stat lines for a teenager in AA this year - .328/.408/.591 - and I still don't think he is getting enough credit for hit. He potentially the best hit tools in the minors, and I think he has a real chance to be a contributor at the big league level as a 20 year old in 2027. I would buy him wherever you can, and there is only a handful of rookie eligible guys I wouldn't trade straight up for him. (Made, Leo, Jenkins)
