JD on Ralphy Velazquez (Jul 14, 2026): I'll admit it. I think I was sleeping on Ralphy Velazquez just because I didn't know too much about him but seeing him in the Futures game piqued my interest. I came away very impressed by his bat-to-ball skills and his overall approach at the plate. He doesn't strike me as someone who will hit for too much power but he could be a high-200s hitter with 15 to 20 home runs. Maybe he ends up slotting it at a corner outfield spot. Not a super high-end prospect but he will play in deeper leagues for sure.
