JD on Corbin Carroll (Jun 2, 2026): I had always been a Corbin Carroll denier and took a premature victory lap when he had his shoulder issues in 2024. Unfortunately that means I have been very late to the Corbin Carroll train and he probably is much more valuable than I am ranking him here. I think he is definitely a guy that should be looked at as a top 10 cornerstone piece in dynasty fantasy baseball and probably will be there for the next five years because he's only 25 years old. Don't make the same mistake I did, buy buy buy.
JD on Yordan Alvarez (Jun 10, 2026): Does anyone else find it hard to believe that your Yordan is only 28 years old (about to be 29)? I hope he stays healthy for the remainder of the season because man, is it fun to watch him absolutely clobber pitchers like Barry Bonds in his peak steroid era. There's nothing in his profile I'm really worried about except lingering injury concerns. I think he can put it together for a full season but the upside is second to only Aaron Judge but he's five years younger. I would've made a straight up trade of Judge for Yordan before the rib injury, and now there isn't even a question.
