JD on Walker Jenkins (Sep 11, 2026): Not a great start from Jenkins in his big league debut, but I'm giving him a lot of grace. Why are the Twins hitting him 9th? You don't take a Ferrari out of the garage to drive it 25 mph on surface streets. You push it to see what you can get out of it. I would like to see the Twins put Jenkins in the two spot and see if he can get comfortable at the big league level, but for the time being I guess every day at-bats out of the nine hole is not the worst-case scenario for a September callup.
