JD on Brent Rooker (Jul 3, 2026): I almost bought low on Rooker in a couple of leagues and I'm really glad I couldn't make the trade happen now that it was just announced that he's out for the year with knee surgery. I'm a big fan of Rooker and I think he has the opportunity to age somewhat gracefully but he was not great this year in the 32% K rate was pretty alarming. He will probably be a preseason top 100 player again next year but I'm dropping him pretty low just because there are better options this year and I don't want to tie up too much value in a 32 year old who is out with knee surgery for the rest of 2026.
