The community agrees too, FRV 81.3 to 70.3. For 2026 redraft, the consensus has Burns ahead, #109 to #131, but the rest-of-season engine has Judge ahead ($10 to $7).
JD on Aaron Judge (Jun 8, 2026): You always have to wonder when the shine wears off with Judge, he's getting old and is so physical that any lingering issue can become a significant problem if not handled thoroughly. This rib injury is not the biggest deal in the world, but it could always be a cascading issue. Moving him from top 10 to number 25 while we see where things stand.
JD on Chase Burns (May 27, 2026): This is an example of someone who I haven't fully bought into this stuff yet even though his metrics are obviously off the charts. As a side note think about how crazy it is that Chase Burns averages 98 mph on his fastball and that's still two full ticks below Misiorowski's fastball average. The stuff is obviously incredible but when there's another young pitcher out there eclipsing him by two full miles per hour, he's going to have to take a backseat to him for the time being. The command is average but the stuff is exceptional and you can bet on exceptional stuff all day. The only other knock on him is that pitching at Cincinnati might lead to a little bit tougher of an offensive environment than you typically see for a player's home ballpark but not something I'm willing to adjust the rankings for.
